Do you believe it's worth the trouble to get the rona vaccine?

I mean the current survival rates are massive:

0 to 19 have a 99.997% chance of survival
20 to 49 a 99.98% chance
50 to 69 years old 99.5% and
70 years old and above a 94.6% chance

With survival rates like that why even bother?

Not to mention you can apparently still transmit it even with the vaccine

If you are in a high risk group you probably should get it.

Same reason for the flu shot.

Not worried about dying, don't like being sick.

I'll be pissed if schools and employers start forcing people in the low risk groups to take the vaccine.

Too many people focus on death rate of Covid.

Lots of people with it get hospilized but do not die, so its still impactful.

If you are young and heathy, I'd hold off on getting it.

85 yr old Mom said she'll be first in line when it's available. She's tired of being cooped up in the house. She's got Garden Club meetings and luncheons to attend.

Get ready because as soon as possible she'll be out on Vets driving her land yacht slow in the left lane.

A friend asked her about long term effects. Her response, "I'm 85 yrs old!"

If my wife weren’t pregnant and having a newborn soon we probably wouldn’t. We’ll probably wait till the baby is born, but babies in general are pretty at risk for stuff during the first few weeks of life and we don’t want to risk it. Our doc advised it.

Could happen. They are saying at least 70 to 80% of the population need to get it to reach herd immunity.

They just haven't proven whether it gives sterilizing immunity yet.

the few people that I've known well that have had it said the vaccine is a must. It was two weeks of hell, like the flu on steroids and takes weeks after that to get back to normal. So feeling a little out of sorts for a day with the vaccine is well worth the hassle.

Yeah not to mention our “medical experts” say it might not even work

Trust the science and don’t get it since it might not work

Tell me how you feel about schools and employers forcing MMRV?

So far, through roughly 500,000 US vaccine takers, Zero people have died and four have been hospitalized

Through 500,000 cases of covid, there were roughly 3,500 deaths and 20,000 hospitalizations

So, sees somewhat strange to like the covid-19 numbers and not the vaccine numbers. But to each their own
