Last time I was in Louisiana, I had some of the best okra gumbo ever and It was made by a Cajun. I wasn't mad, I just wanted the recipe.

Now folks don't think Bruno Mars should do funk music, and Katy Perry goes on apology for wearing a kimono or whatever it's called.

Do people actually get mad over stupid shite like this?

You mean like Atlanta culturally appropriating our Popeyes or Orlando culturally appropriating our Ruth's Chris?

Cultural appropriation is a racist term only used by racist. It basically means that certain cultures and lifestyles are only meant for people of certain color. It is one of the most racist ideas out there.

It was the trademark for people like Hitler, and it is being revived by the new racist/fascist. ( Blacklivesmatter/Antifa)

"I really need y'all to stop with this Bruno Mars praise and be more critical about the ways we understand [cultural] appropriation," Jackson, who writes at the Washington Post as well as B***h Media, said on Twitter.

It was like one woman who said it and the internet blew up over it.

Just for the record, mac and cheese is French. Thomas Jefferson brought it to America.

You should want people to celebrate your culture. Doesn't offend me when people celebrate Holi or Diwali or dress in Indian clothes. If your culture is worth being "appropriated", you should be happy.

Damn if Bruno Mars can't make funk, this chicks head would explode if she lived in the 70's and saw a bunch of Welsh & Scottish guys named Average White Band.

Where do you draw the line? Who gets to decide what belongs to each culture? How far back in time do you have to go? Ridiculous! Just people looking for something to complain about.

Even for leftist standards, the concept of cultural appropriation being a problem is fricking absurd. It's also genuinely racist but that's par for the course for the left.
