No, they're not.

Democrats complicate race relations because it provides them a huge benefit.

Dems don't want to help black folks become independent, they need them poor and outraged.

That's why they spin shite like CRT. Obfuscate their own racism, blame everyone else.

Race relations in the US are complicated. CRT is just one perspective on that.
No one has claimed all race relations are simple. Just CRT.

But maybe I’ve been presumptive. Perhaps you have a difficult time understanding CRT. But that says more about your capacity than it says about CRT.

First, please, tell me why you expect me to support an argument I never made.

I said that either tokenism or networking was the mostly only way to gain employment in an academic field that does not add productive value, and you disagreed. Maybe there was something lost in translation.

Several people in this very thread have claimed that (or at least challenged that they are complicated). Not CRT people, either.

How am I throwing a hissy fit? By responding with logical questions and without name calling?

Because you won’t expand on your original point and out some context behind your statement. Stop being a bitch, explain CRT to us.

I'm not sure anyone has asked - are you a CRT advocate, or just being pedantic about aspects of it in response to another poster? If you are an advocate, what parts of CRT do you believe have a salient perspective on American race relations?

No, you suggested I said there is an "extraordinary market for people with advanced social science degrees." Again, something I never said.

That's because I tend to think that most people who have a decent job in social sciences have their gig because they are well connected or are used as a token. It's difficult to find employment otherwise. Not entirely sure what the rub is here.

This. It mostly just pisses me off that it's being used by right wing dorks who have never actually read any CRT book or article. Including Centinel.

That was literally my original point. It's become a goofy buzzword by people who have never tried understand it. But if you make that point, you're immediately labeled a libtard.

I feel like that’s the wrong question to ask. It should be how social structures and hierarchies through the prism of race were defined in the first place and how that specifically impacted how people of different races viewed one another.

That is literally the question.
