I was only a kid in the 70’s, but I still remember students placing their big speakers in the windows and blaring their music on game days. I thought it was so cool as a child.

There were still people living in them when I went to school. Seemed like mostly exchange students. They didn’t have AC.

Very spartan! Think “ pantheon of concrete and steel”! No a/c! Very few men’s dorms had a/c up till the mid 80’s.
