Did anyone else hear the meltdown on talk 107.3 this afternoon? It got racial.

At around 5:40 or so these two religious dudes, one is a black justice of the peace and the other is a white pastor.
The pastor starts talking about how its not right that race determines whether or not it is okay to say certain words. He goes on to say that there isn't a major outrage and boycott of rappers who say "n***a this, and n***a that" but if a white person says it then its outrageous.
The black guy, who is in the studio, immediately starts yelling about how the white guy doesn't have the privilege to use that word, threatens him with violence, claiming he would yank those words out of his mouth, and then goes on to say that "your people control hollywood and promote gangsta rap", then says his people were enslaved, raped, and so on. Dude was getting belligerent.
Engster then sides with the black guy saying that the white guy said the N word, ignoring the nuance of the situation. The white guy's point was made by the reaction he got.
TL;DR white guy says N word. Black guy goes on emotional rant. Was entertaining. Would listen again.

Idk why you white guys say a word that is culturally offensive to blacks then don't understand when blacks get upset. And yes, blacks use it, I use it myself actually, but even I have been chastised by other blacks for using it. It's an offensive word.

Then blacks shouldn't use cracker, honky, whitey, or other derogatory words to discribe whites.

I am pretty sure somewhere way down the line there was someone in my family who was murdered, raped, abused, etc. etc. etc. and I don't go around wearing it like a badge that allows me to do and say anything I want.
