She will eventually testify on the dispatches she relayed on the day of the event.
Right now, the prosecutor is just establishing her bona fides for the sake of the jury.

Cops have jurisdiction of a scene until the threat is over. So it is a moot point.

B.O.R.I.N.G.!
A call was made to 911 and it was dispatched...next witness!

Obviously some of you have never watched a trial. This isn't for your entertainment, it's for justice.

part of the prosecution's job is to firmly establish a timeline of events that led to the crime in question
so yes there will be a lot of boring people who had an indirect role in the event at hand

Cut Jody some slack, his idea of justice is probably different than ours
(like, more awesome and instantaneous)

Call her boring, but prosecution using her for a few big things.
1) the address where he came from, meaning it could be assumed the police knew he came from a certain neighborhood
2) SHE called for additional officers cause what she heard in the background
3) she was first to see the video while she was on dispatch.
4) you need to have a reason to enter evidence, she gives them it for the street video and the audio from call
5) timeline to call back when they speak with EMS and bystanders

I beg to differ because I've never seen even 1 episode of Law & Order where the court portion was boring.

Vincent Gambini would have already won this trial.

Now we see why they're questioning her. She called a sergeant cause she thought "all of these cops sat on this man".

And here we go......
She never gets to watch the police in action. She called her Sargeant cause she was concerned, and now she says she’s never called her Sargeant before this for having concern....
ETA: she testified that she was watching the street camera (on and off) while on the dispatch. She then called her Sargeant cause she was concerned with what she saw on the video. She also said they don’t ever really get to watch what they are dispatching for. Played audio for that call and Sargeant ended it quickly, didn’t seem to be concerned by what she said

What's the significance?
Edit: Did she see something on the body cam footage in real time that would aid the prosecution's case? Or was her assessment based on her interpretation of radio?

Look above. While on the dispatch radio, she was watching a TV in the room that was showing a police street cam video overlooking the scene from high across the street

Hmm. Okay, I assume the jury will get to look at that video for themselves at some point?

My TV Guide says "Days if our Lives." WTF am I watching then?

Are y'all watching the people in the street? A guy in a Mercedes-Benz just flipped them off.
What time are they returning?
