So family trip to Colorado. We will be flying into Denver tomorrow and will have our 1yr old with us so keeping fingers crossed about the flight. It isnt too long though so hopefully it will be fine. We will spend Thursday in Denver, staying around the Lodo area. Friday we will drive to Boulder and be there until Sunday evening. Besides Estes and breweries what are some things we should look into?

Any cant miss restaurants?

Tia

Some good dispensaries in Boulder.

And there’s a good doughnut shop.

Drive up to Mt Evans, if road is still open.

Go to Rocky Mountain National Park.

If you dont have a place to stay look at Devils Thumb Ranch.

Theres a lot more but thats enough to start on.

Oh... and watch your drinking at altitude. 1 beer at 8,000 ft = 2 at sea level.

Also dont fly home with edibles, TSA frowns on that.

Make sure to visit casa bonita. The worst mexican food you've ever had served in the best setting.

Go to Bacon Social House for brunch and get the Baller Bacon. No joke, best piece of bacon I’ve ever had.

I've hiked Rocky Mountain park before. Going to try and get a couple in this go around. The elevation didn't mess with me too bad until we got around 12k but I was younger and in better shape. Dont plan on going near that high this go around anyway.
