A mistrial was declared after the jury deadlocked in Terry Thompson's murder trial Saturday.
Jurors resumed deliberations Saturday morning at 10 a.m. after being dismissed by Judge Kelli Johnson just before 10 p.m. Friday.
Thompson is accused of strangling 24-year-old John Hernandez outside of the restaurant after 11 p.m. on May 28, 2017 after Thompson witnessed him urinating behind his truck.

It’s finally coming out that peeing dude was a huge douche canoe threatening people. Didn’t deserve to die but won the stupid prizes for his behavior.

Been saturated with this story around here. Mexican dude choked out by a white dude who was a white cops husband. Drunk mexican guy was looking for shite. In video he is shoving everyone who goes near him, even his wife or fiance.
Enter "hero" cop and her husband who decide to protect and serve that Dennys. They see the guy pissing and say something. The mexican dude DOES clock the guy in his eye, but he is shitfaced so they get him down. Just a stupid case of a fat frick who watches too much MMA and his wife. Basically puts a rear naked choke on him and never lets up. Stupid frick. People are filming by that point so you see that part. Poor dead bastard even "taps out". You can see it in the video but fatboy never lets up and his cop wife even grabs that hand and pins it.
Total cluster, but the DA tried it sounds like. Gave the jury three different potential charges. How they couldn't say negligent homicide, I dont know.

I first thought he would be found guilty and do time. After hearing more of the evidence of the dead guys behavior I’m not sure that they will find a jury that will convict him of any of the three charges.

I agree. I never expected murder. Manslaughter or negligent homicide seemed more likely.
