Anyone have experience with the Deep Blue brand?

For $150 I can get a diver with: AR-coated sapphire crystal, 300m water resistance, Seiko NH35 mov’t, completely luminous ceramic bezel, and a helium release valve… I don’t need half of that stuff, but seems ultra feature-packed for the price.

Tons of dials and bracelets to choose from also.

Bought one for the wife many years ago, she wore it and liked it I think. Got her a Swatch and she prefers that now.

When I was diving I wore a Bulova that cost about that much with fewer features. A high end watch is on my bucket list but I would never actually take it in the ocean

Nice looking watch. I’d own it.

Watch snobs will laugh, but that is a nice looking watch.

It's not really my style that I like to wear, but if you like it go for it.

Looks tiny. Some guys like a feminine look though.

Absolutely. Pool and lake for mine only. Never would take one into saltwater. But at the OP price point, why not. I’d test it in a pool first though.

But for any divers here, serious you’ll die if you frick up divers. Do you use and rely on a watch? Or do you use another timer and pressure gauges.

I’m honestly asking. Only been on one uncertified 25 foot dive.

Buy it because it looks good and not because of its dive features. Everyone I know uses a dive computer now.

I have one of there GMT Day/Night Rescue models from a few years back. It was quite a bit more in price but it has an ETA movement.

It’s been a great watch. The tritium tubes are great for me because I work a lot of night shifts.

I'm pretty sure anyone who actually dives wears a dive computer. Dive watches are for people who work in an office.

I took my BB58 swimming at the beach but I don't know the first thing about diving

I'm kind of partial to this for just $40...

Some of the questions/answers in the Amazon "ratings" are pretty funny.

The Deep Blue is a decent looking watch, would wear.

The 46 and 48mm watches for sale today are going to age poorly. Too many men buy the biggest they can

I'm actually glad the OP brought these up. I need something to wear when I travel so I'm not haloing my 38 yo sub all over the place.

Yeah, because wearing a dinner plate on your wrist is masculine.

I learned using a watch and dive tables. If I got back into it I would use a dive computer with a watch as backup
