No spin post.

Just facts. Make of them what you will.

Deaths in the US year over year:

Year. Deaths
2019. 2,846,000
2020 2,877,601 at 48th week so estimate 3,117,000 for year end.

Increase 271,000 (based on estimate for remainder of the year)
Almost 10%

Our birth rate is less than 1% annually.

Just the facts

Link?

Not that I don’t trust you but you are the one saying they are treating people in hospital parking lots because they have no room inside although LDH reporting shows plenty of available beds

What percent of those deaths in 2020 were due to fear porn causing an adoption of telemedicine and resultant less early identification of illness and crisis -> death.

I totally believe these numbers. Especially with no link to back them up. When you do give us a link, can it be from a source that I fully trust like the CDC or the FBI?

Can you do average year over year? Is 10% a crazy jump? How many die on average per year?

Just posting 2 numbers shows nothing.

There were set ups in hospital parking lots.

The death count in the US is up @10% year over year

You deny that?

Now add 2018 and 2017 numbers. You’ll see that it goes up annually about the same amount.

Now add population increase for each of those years and you’ll see that the death rate is nearly the same.

Now add that the fact that the baby boomers are a greater share of the population and you’ll see that nothing has changed in the past decade.

I think he's just asking for more data. Like what is the average annual increase in deaths for the last decade. Where do your numbers come from?

2,832,000 deaths in 2018 so yeah, 10% is considerable jump.

This is misleading because the death rate is projected to increase at the same rate as the past 3 years. We have had a increasing number of deaths every year for a while now.

quote:

United States - Historical Death Rate Data
Year Death Rate Growth Rate
2020 8.880 1.120%
2019 8.782 1.120%
2018 8.685 1.220%
2017 8.580 1.240%
2016 8.475 1.270%

May we also include that drug overdoses in our country are at an all time high, with roughly 80k deaths this year?

Baby Boomer’s aging?

Increased funding for Planned Parenthood?

Clinton’s hit list?

Southside Chicago?

What’s going on here? Context would be nice ....

I don’t follow. You saying our death count increases 10% per year on average? You’d have to give source to make that case as it is wildly un believable.

Birth rate is less than 1% so that would mean we headed for extinction here in the US unless we bring in a lot of immigrants.

Deaths in 2014 were 2,626,418 btw

And go back and look at the jump related to the scary pandemic H1N1. Similar bumps but the economy wasn’t wrecked by scared sheep and political opportunists.

Deaths
2016-2,744,248
2017-2,813,503
2018-2,839,205

I believe the current numbers will come in right below 3,000,000. We’ve had an alarming increase of deaths by suicide and drug overdose.
