I think you are missing his point. I think his point is that it is easier for a girl/young woman to find a sugar daddy than it is for a boy/young man. There are far more older men who will provide a young woman with a place to stay and support in exchange for sex than there are older women that will do the same for young men. I'm not saying it doesn't happen the other way around but if you hear of an 18 year old shacking up with a 24-30 year old (or older) then in most case the older person is male.

There is a reason that a vast majority of May-December relationships involve an older man with a younger woman.

You have missed the point entirely. And what stranger is going to promise a young boy a new car or something if only he will move in with them? Not many. Girls do not act a fool over material things, they may seem to be but the driving force is emotional support, not things. Things may be tied to that emotional support....a nose piercing, for example, that the girl thinks will make her more attractive. Procreation to females require some form of attraction, usually tied to emotion, that simply does not exist at the same level in men. There is an obvious biological reason for this, men can and do hit it and leave it while a woman is subject to at least nine months of time to think about their choices.

Not at all, I suspect the desire is pretty close to equal. What I am saying is tossing a 15 year old boy out of the house is not as likely to allow him to fulfill his desires as it is should one do the same thing to a 15 year old girl. Again, 99% of those accused of statutory rape are make and 95% of their victims are female. Even accounting for societal differences that make it less likely for women to be accused of statutory rape that is still a significant difference. A young boy on the street is unlikely to find it easier to get laid than a girl the same age would. The risks for impacting HER life long term is far greater than it is his...he may be emotionally scarred, he is not going to get pregnant. It simply is not the same....both sexes would face homelessness and hunger and victimization...the threat of the latter is FAR greater, and supported statistically, for a young girl than a young boy.

ALL Animals have cognition, it is not unique to Humans. All animals learn to some degree. The only reason any life exists is the sake of existence which requires procreation.

You are equating emotion and biology. They are not one and the same. Gay people have sex for the same reason straight people...because they possess an instinctive need to procreate...it is the foundation of sex drive at its base. Emotionally they are not attracted to a partner who they can actually achieve the desired end result with. The actual counterpoint would be an asexual person, someone with NO desire to have sex of any kind with anyone. This is widely attributed to emotion and not biology. I don't know if this is always the case but I suspect it is in the majority where the outlier would statistically insignificant if it exists at all.

MOST people start having sex, today and since the beginning of time, WAY before they are ready to have kids. That does not mean that the instinct is absent in us at that time. It kind of enforces that idea actually...most people are capable of reproducing WAY before society deems it appropriate. This is a societal construct, not one of biology....and is based in sound reasoning considering the societal expectations of procreation. Biologically we are able to procreate far earlier in life than societally or emotionally we should be doing so.

Masturbation is also indicative of this....the behavior is observed in utero from time to time. Procreation is instinctive and the sole explanation for the existence of live of any sort. It is the reason all things live, it is not the purpose of all living things....

I understand this is very reductive, there are obviously many things about life which are not in any manner tied to the instinctive requirement to procreate. That is not the reason we exist, that is the purpose of our existence....

Tell her when she supports herself 100% financially she can then have total control of her decisions. Otherwise, this is just a 17 y/o bitchy daughter moment.

Word of advice from the dad of three grown daughters; don’t sever that line of communication. They’ll come back. Usually when they have kids of their own and start experiencing adult challenges they begin to realize what idiots they were. Mine all apologized for the drama they produced when they thought they were the center of the universe.

I suspect it would be a rare school district which did do that BUT life teaches most people that it is a reality in all cultures and all nations....it is estimated that as many as 40 million people worldwide do indeed earn some part of their succor through sex and 32 million of those are women....its just a fact of life, unfortunate or not depending on one's perspective. It is far more likely for a woman to earn some part of her succor than it is for a man....and is an obvious function of market forces and supply an demand...far more supply of men willing to hump anything that moves than women....
