Well, I started this thread to be honest... and cause I wanted to share some thoughts with people I don't know IRL... so why not share them all...

I've started dating a girl I really like. Probably the first one I've really liked and wanted it to go somewhere in quite awhile... I really like hanging out with her as much as anything sex wise goes. We had sex the second time hanging out.... it was good... but I couldn't quite get there... mainly cause all I was thinking about was getting there.. This isn't the first time this has happened with a new girl I'm dating... especially one that I actually like...

For whatever reason I place pressure on myself to try to be an all star in bed... but that pressure leads to me thinking about the fact I didn't get there... which then leads to anxiety about the next time we have sex... which sometimes leads to ED.... All of the issues I have are not directly rooted in porn watching... but I think it is one thing that has desensitized me and led me to build up expectations for her and myself in my mind....

I worry and I think too much... I know "beta as frick"... blah blah blah... maybe so... but that's the way it is... Can't really help the way my mind works.. just try to make it better.

Everything you read says just RELAX.... well that's like telling someone with anxiety to just relax and stop worrying... like "No shite, sherlock... you're a fricking Genius... why didn't I think of that???"

Whatever works for you

It's all about knowing yourself. Some folks need to cut out porn for a variety of reasons. Others can view it regularly without any adverse side effects. All there really is to it.

The only problem is when folks on one side of the scale get it in their heads that since it works a particular way with them regarding porn, it must be the same for everyone. Not saying that's what you're doing at all, btw, NATidefan, but that's just how it seems these types of threads always go.

I dont even have time to watch it anymore or the personal space.

Me and the misses will watch it together thats about it

I tend to watch it when her work schedule and mine are opposite so neither of us are home together most of the time, or when one of us is deployed/TDY.

My viewing goes way down when we're on the same sleep/work schedule
