TD.com - putting the Rant in quarantine.
When Chris Elliot does his Marv Albert skits, he comes out with a styrofoam cup and brushes off the front of his pants with his other hand several times. That was because Marv used to pace around backstage before his appearances with a cup while wiping his pants for some reason. Chris never referenced either thing and only did it to crack Dave up as a private joke (which it did).
