Could you tolerate AirBnB people as constant, new faces?

Unit next to me, since being renovated, has been exclusively AirBnB tenants. Granted I live in a very popular area of Fort Lauderdale, I gave it no thought. I work a good bit, and enjoy meeting new people. Not really home too much.
Just had a run in with the new settler. She made a snide comment about me startling her while smoking a menthol and drinking a Modelo on ‘her patio’. She’s very muppets looking, probably Canadian. Pale skin tone, elongated vowel pronunciation.
In the 8 months this unit has been AirBnB, I’ve never had this much of a peculiar encounter with any of the inhabitants.
Recourse?

House next to my parents in an Air B&B
They didn’t realize it until after the storm when there were trucks all along the street, a tree company rented it & had 8 or so guys staying in it
Another neighbor asked them to move a truck so they could get in their drive way & supposedly the guy cussed her
Other neighbors have complained about smelling pot, music & general crap you don’t want in a neighborhood
Someone finally got in touch with the owner & after several more complaints he agreed to only do long term rental
A councilman lives in the neighborhood & confirmed there is nothing they can do except call the cops if there are issues
Be glad the oddest person you’ve come across is a pale chick that smokes
You could have an out of state tree guy sleeping in a hammock on the porch

Obviously not in Jefferson Parish, which allows NO short term rentals. Not like that joke of a Parish to our east.
That's the way we want it here. We all paid good money to live in a nice neighborhood with single family houses, with great neighbors.
