Yes…

You never said land correctly. I could def land the plane. Now if it’s correctly, that’s another story. But honestly I think I could follow directions enough from the tower/FAA that I wouldn’t at least kill people.

I think I once seen a video where a commercial pilot said flat out this is pretty much impossible.

One of my recurring nightmares is I'm in a plane and can see my friends in the cockpit flying the plane. Lololol
Has actually happened to me twice. One was a pilot for Continental Express and now is a Capt for Southwest. It was back in the day obviously and a bunch of us were flying from H-town to Monroe to go look at a pipeline for work. My dad, who was my boss and CEO of the company at the time, was ahead of me and when he looked in the cockpit while boarding and saw my buddy as a pilot said real loud I have to get off the plane. Something like I can't trust this pilot. He kinda made a scene but it was a joke although not sure if some of the other passengers thought it was funny. However, the flight attendant thought it was a riot. The other was also a Continental Express pilot and I was flying from Laffy to H-town and it was a nasty weather flight. He was like prep your anus because it is about to be bad.

I'd pull up ChatGPT on my phone and let it guide me in.

it seems like that shite is so automated these days that any relatively intelligent person should have a pretty good shot if they had the ground crew in their ear talking them through things
a very common misconception
For one, if you magically get put in the pilot's seat with no training, how do you even turn on the right radio to talk to these mythical talker-downers?
Naw, we ded.

A friend flew us to North Carolina and back in his Bonanza to pick up a gun dog puppy. Many hours as a Marine Corps aviator but an older guy by then. On the way back I glance at him and he's slumped over. It was a moment of sheer panic until I realized he was looking at a chart spread out on the floor. That same trip we're doing an instrument approach in to Tuscaloosa to refuel. We're descending through the clouds and he says "wow, they really whiffed on the forecast, I may have to go around." Just as I think we're about to hit the ground we break out of the clouds with the runway directly in front of us.

Some of the newer private planes being manufactured have a big red “push in case pilot dies” button that will land the plane at the nearest airport.
oh that's been around for years

dumps the cabin so you'll be unconscious on impact

Of course. I would just kick her in the pussy.

There's a manual with step by step guides in every cockpit that pilots reference every time there's an anomaly. That plus radio contact with someone on the ground to walk you through it, it's just a video game with very real consequences

Would I try if there was no one else on board more qualified? Yes.
Could I “land” if someone talked me through it? Possibly
Could I stop once we land? That would be my biggest fear.
Could I land with no one talking me through it? <20% chance
