Could a state decide to release all of its prisoners in another state?

After changing its own laws to allow for the practice.

Say Kansas and Connecticut start feuding with each other. Could Kansas ship all of its prisoners there with the threat of life imprisonment of they return to Kansas?

Just a thought exercise.

The native villages do this. That's how we end up with all the inebriates.

Isn't that how the Florida parishes were originally formed?

So basically exile/banishment?

Some states allow it, some don't

Since Florida doesn't have parishes, probably not.

Don’t know why people are downvoting this. It’s well known that native reservations and villages bannish their undesirables and effectively send them to live in exile in US lands. Just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean it’s not true

Castro emptied his jails in 1980 and put them all on boats to Miami.

Most of them were probably just anti communists. Happy to have them in Florida honestly

I'm pretty sure Mexico and some other Central American states do it routinely.

You can be trespassed from the Sugar Land TX branch of Time Warner Cable (trust me, I know this to be true), but I'm willing to bet you can not be trespassed from an entire state.

Lots of dumb people that post here.

Banishment is a common practice among the natives, its pretty common. They send them to population centers.
