Huh? I have neighbor that’s a Lewzianer State Trooper and he’s paid $100k annually
I realize that that’s min wage on this board but not too bad.

Many troopers make much more. Their retirement is also fantastic.

You have the reporter trespassing on the man’s private property.
The lack of people who do not understand what trespassing is quite astounding.

This cop makes $200,000, including over $75,000 in questionable overtime. For working a 9 to 5 desk job in the pistol permit department. He’s been banned from patrol due to his rage.

Knocking on someone’s front door is not trespassing. Also he began leaving as soon as he was asked.
Posted on 7/15/25 at 5:47 pm to SaintsTiger
That overtime is why the journalist knocked on his door. It's very fishy and someone is cooking. Maybe he was taken off the street due to rage issues with the promise he could keep making all that overtime he was accustomed to. Now the story is gaining traction he's in deep shite.
If a JW or a salesman had knocked would he have behaved the same?

You can't brandish a gun and get 2 inches from someone as they are leaving your property after being asked.
Why not? I can brandish anything I want on my property. Why is this guy not allowed?
A big dude like that yelling at me on my own property....it'd be more than brandishing.
But I live in MS. The coroner would scoop him up & tell me to have a good day, after the sheriff said "good shoot"

Don’t frick with cops. Even if they are in the wrong. They can make your life hell and nothing happens to them.
They do, after all, have the means and authority to end you.

No, he started leaving as soon as he was instructed.
This is bullshite
First, he walked across the mans lawn, instead of using the clearly marked drive and sidewalk. Theres a reason its called a side walk
He went to knock on the door, and went right back and stood on the mans grass again. In fact, both of them did. The guy came to the door, pointed twice for him to leave, pulled out a phone, and retreated into his house.
Yet the lard arse AND HIS FRIEND stopped and began narrating a video of why he was trespassing on the guys lawn. He was there for one reason. Clicks

Ah jeez, there go the 90% of bad cops again, giving the good 10% a bad name!

And to the pussy that says I'd piss my pants, I've had 2 guns pulled on me. I never waiverd an inch. I'm scared of no man.
This is the same attitude that folks use when they kill someone for stepping on their shoes accidentally or for cutting them off in traffic. It indicates an incredibly low valued placed on one's own life not to mention the life of others,

Unfortunately, protecting one’s grass isn’t a thing here. Nor is it “not narrating while actively walking away”
Is his behavior distasteful? Seems mixed opinions. Is it legal to knock on a door and then retreat when instructed? Yes.

In Connecticut, spitting on someone can be considered assault depending on the circumstances. While not automatically classified as assault, it can be prosecuted under the state's assault laws if the act involves intent to injure or threaten. Specifically, Connecticut General Statutes § 53a-61 defines assault in the third degree as intentionally causing physical injury to another person. Spitting could be interpreted as an attempt to cause physical injury, or even as a physical contact that causes injury, thus meeting the definition of assault. Additionally, if the spitting is done with the intent to threaten, it could potentially be charged as threatening in the second degree.

Yes, spitting on someone is generally considered assault. According to legal resources, spitting on another person is often treated as simple assault because it involves the intentional application of force (even if it's just saliva) and can cause offensive or harmful contact.

Was the guy hurt by his spit? Was he not on his property? Was he not trespassing? It’s funny that the guy wanted the homeowner arrested. You can’t handle the consequences then don’t trespass. If the reporter wants it handled he can do so in civil court. If he was so badly hurt by some spit, lol.
If you’ve not been trespassed you are allowed to approach a home and knock. Simply entering the property is not trespassing.
I’d venture at the very least his damages would be the cost of any health testing after the event, for the spit specifically. But I also suspect a jury would be none to happy about an officer with gun spitting in someone’s face.

Similar to a shove or slap not likely causing material damage but still not being legal.
I suspect in the end charges in the video will be dropped and the continued light on the officer will someday cause issues for him

Using your logic i can chase any door to door salesman off my property, with a gun, spit in their face and have them arrested for trespassing
Apparently you can also chase off the mailman or fed ex guy forcefully according to some.

Maybe but I'm not that unhinged. I don't get upset easily. I'm talking about people intentionally fricking with me for the wrong reasons.
I don't carry firearms because if I take it out I'm planning to use it.
I care about the people in my circle. The rest don't matter.
I've been around death enough that there is nothing to fear.
