Maybe not, but the cop didn’t really break any laws either. As far as I am concerned nothing hurt on either side. He probably won’t got back on his property again either, lol.

Spitting in someone's face is legal? Nahh. It's an auto felony if done to a police officer but that doesnt mean its legal to spit in anyone's face if they aren't LEO

Was the guy hurt by his spit? Was he not on his property? Was he not trespassing? It’s funny that the guy wanted the homeowner arrested. You can’t handle the consequences then don’t trespass. If the reporter wants it handled he can do so in civil court. If he was so badly hurt by some spit, lol.

Just think about it rationally for a minute. I think these 2 young cops handled the situation well. You have the reporter trespassing on the man’s private property. The homeowner spit in the guy’s face on his property. If you were the cop you would have arrested the homeowner for spitting on a trespasser on his own property? We aren’t talking about spitting on someone in a public place. I think a warning to the guy not to go back on the homeowner’s property was the right thing to do. Nobody was hurt despite hurt pride on both parties.

No, he started leaving as soon as he was instructed. For a trespass you have to be given the option to retreat, which he was not afforded when the maniac got in his face with a gun. Even still Sean kept backing up exiting the very long driveway.

Using your logic i can chase any door to door salesman off my property, with a gun, spit in their face and have them arrested for trespassing

Im not a bad arse. I just don't take shite from people. I've been in numerous fights when I was younger. Haven't fought in decades. Nobody is spitting in my face and not getting consequences. That's a fact.
As for dying, I'm ready to go anytime. My bags were packed a long time ago. I won't commit suicide so I have a feeling I'll live longer than most just because of how cruel this so called god is.
I don't have a death wish but if it comes knocking, I'm ready to dance.

There was no trespass. Journalists or anyone can knock on a door without being shot or trespassed. Then when asked to leave they leave which this journalist did. The cop then closed the door, got a gun, opened the door and began following the journalist down the driveway while screaming and spitting. The self defense argument or fear for safety by the officer is gone once he re-opened the door and re-engaged with the reporter.
In the end, the reporter will make money off the video just like NBC, ABC, and others do by getting sponsorships off their videos. There is no ID card for a reporter. Anyone can be a journalist. Now, some private and public events can invite certain journalists or require some form of ID, but that’s no different than any private business making ID cards from a home computer.

Part of these things is to show cops frick you with both sides of the law. They hold us accountable for not operating by the book when it helps them, and they cut corners when it helps them.
