I fricking wish i was in an office high enough to respond to that.

I would look at the Japanese reps straight faced and say, “ok do it big guy! I fricking date you!” As soon as you do, a whole bunch of other countries and gonna help kick your arse because of doing some psychotic shots like that. No one is gonna be ok with any country nuking another now days. So yeah, tough guy, launch those missles and see how that works out.”

Sun Tzu:. When you are strong, make your enemy think you are weak. When you are weak, make him think you are strong. China is losing control of the narrative so they're blustering.

Japan's Self Defense Forces (SDF) are actually more advanced than the US Military. Many people don't know that.

If they decided to push nuclear weapon development, Lord have mercy. They had adopted a pacifist stance since WW2 but that isn't their history or true culture. The "Kamikaze" would come back with a vengeance if they felt China was serious about attacking them.

It would be weeks, not months, and they would have the most advanced weapons in the world ready to deploy.

China would then indeed "find out".

This is just Chinese propaganda. Every totalitarian nation state needs an adversary that “threatens” their existence. It rallies the people to the leaders in charge.

Except China is not at all saying Japan threatens their existence, they are threatening Japan that if they attempt to intervene in China's actions with Taiwan then they will utterly destroy Japan. It's not meant to rally the Chinese people it's meant to intimidate the Japanese into submission to China's will.

It's crazy to think Japan was going insane on China less than 100 years ago.

Seeing what the commies ended up doing, might have been better to let them finish the job.

Can't imagine them saber rattling like this with Trump in office. Biden and the Dems are so pathetically weak and corrupt.

China did what it wanted under Trump too. Don’t be dumb.

We didn’t do shite about their rampant human rights violations. Don’t mistake tariffs as being tough on China as a whole.

If China takes over Taiwan and attacks Japan I’ve got a feeling the US will do absolutely nothing.

If China attacks mainland Japan especially with nuclear weapons they will be attacking the US. We have more permanently stationed troops in Japan than in any other foreign country.

It would be far worse if the previous president was still in office. Can you imagine how he’d try to fumble and stumble his way around? If he didn’t get his way he’d attack.

And I voted for him. What a mess our country is in.

The prior administration could do one or the other depending on what bipolar state they’re in. Then try to blame someone else when it gets nasty.

Then disappear into his safe room while others have to clean his mess up.
