Chicago: Sexual assault of 7 year old girl during remote learning

Catrell Walls of the West Chesterfield neighborhood on the South Side, was arrested Thursday afternoon shortly after 3:30 p.m. after he was seen molesting a girl in an online forum used for remote learning, police said.
Walls is charged with predatory criminal sexual assault of a victim under age 13.
Police were made aware of the attack when the girl’s teacher saw it on a computer screen during a Google classroom e-learning session, police said. When officers got there, the girl identified her attacker, and he was arrested.
Walls was scheduled to appear at a bail hearing later Saturday.
