So now Covid/Delta/Omega Moo is only 5 to 7 days recommended quarantine from contact exposure versus the original 10-14 days.

Is the CDC openly admitting that these variants are only 50% of the concern from the original?

When JBE extends the Federal kicker to unemployment on Tuesday past the 7/31 deadline, will it only be 50% of what the lazy fricks have been getting?

have you notified our local OT COVIDIANs to ensure the information in this thread is factually correct (according to them)? If not, I’m going to have to report you to our social media content overlords. ...

It's shorter because everyone is just dying.

He signed into law that it ends on 7/31. He isn’t going to be able to do an executive action to reenact it.

This has been the guideline since early Spring and the 7 day quarantine period is up to the local health authority - its a CDC alternative to the standard 14 day quarantine.

It may seem outlandish but the more we study a virus, the more we learn about it. It’s quite possible this is due to knowing more about the virus than we did a year ago.

Wouldn't that change if he officially declares we have entered an actual phase like say Phase Da Two?

We knew over a year ago that you should see symptoms within day 5 +/- a day or two. The course of the virus has been well known for quite a while. 14 days has always been idiotic.

So with your logic which is reasonable, then why don't we know jack shite about natural antibodies from having Covid? Is it because natural immunity goes against the narrative?

Thanks man, and that is my point. LDH is sending its strike team nurses and other credential frontline OPH employees that Louisiana is doing bare minimum CDC recommendation.

How does this dog hunt when Louisiana, as of yesterday, been named the #1 per capita fastest growing Delta in the country --- WBRZ.

Right. I can’t find shite for data for reinfection of those who already had covid. Show me it’s a threat and I’ll get the vaccine.

Like when we learned a year ago it is essentially harmless for children, yet there are still kids in this country that will not be in the classroom this fall? Certain medications help with treatment but they aren’t being used? Lockdowns having questionable success and notable negative repercussions but they are still being threatened? PPP had an incredibly high rate of fraud yet they gave a second round? Unemployment benefits are strangling economic growth by shrinking the labor pool yet being extended? Masks, vaccines, antibodies….

You are right, we have learned a lot, public policy doesn’t necessarily follow, which is why people do not trust those dictating public policy
