shows you how strong gators are in the water. A small gator like that gave that man a fight now imagine a 5 to 10 footer. If there's a small pond anywhere in the south gators seem to find them.

That was my takeaway as well. If a tiny arse gator like that is that strong then how fricking strong are the big ones?

I said STAGED! Once that alligator had that dog (if it did “have” it) in the water, bye bye. That guy would have never been able to grab it. Maybe later, somewhere further out in the pond or in the bushes or under a log or something. It doesn’t hang around to argue over possession and would have put up a nastier, physical fight for it’s food. Lastly, that guy was making an awful lot of strangely inappropriate sounds wrestling with what appeared to be a dead or dying gator.

Agreed, and a particularly small one to be involved in predation of dogs in a Florida pond. It still looks staged to me and I’ve been familiar with that area for decades. Also, it seems that Meredith Budd (who is not a State of Florida wildlife agent) has an agenda. Anyway, downvote away.

The OT should get on the case and conduct some experiments. Step 1: acquire small alligators.

A baby Gator. Let me know when he saves his pet from an 8 footer or bigger.

Y’all do realize it is a fake! Why is the alligator not slashing? Why did the video only start from when he comes out the water, it’s a trailcam...it would be recording before? Why did the man throw the dog away from the alligator at end, and dog as no wounds? Don’t be fooled

But on swamp people, that's a prehistoric 800lb beast tree shaker.

I grazed an 11 footer in Texas with my kayak rudder. Scared the frick out of me and him.

UGA fan letting out some frustrations on a gator.

I wonder if that pup recognizes who is alpha.

Ok this sounded more awesome based on the title but it was a baby gator. I’ve held live gators bigger than that.
