Of course it isn’t “easy”
and i meant it wasn't easy for someone with the physique to achieve it.
Being 6'1" 180 isn't a physique that's conducive to being a productive bench presser.
the guy saying he was 5'8" at 176 and did 385, while also mentioning that he had been consistently working out for many years is much more believable. I'd expect him to have bulk in his upper body that is clearly visible, and doesn't look lean at all, but more like a linebacker. and i bet he skipped leg days, or at least looks like he did. You couple that with a shorter than height wingspan and it makes for a someone conducive to achieving great feats in bench press. a 6'1" 180 guy looks like a runner, not a linebacker. I will say that the fact you said he was a gymnast makes the feat seem more believable, b/c male gymnasts are usually pretty fricking yoked.
the wingspan aspect of doing bench press is understated. it is much more difficult to achieve great bench press numbers if you've got long arse arms.

The Czech guy was a gymnast. He was extremely impressive in Olympic style lifts. His technique was flawless
Other guy had a brother who was a bodybuilder(or powerlifter, I can’t remember which one). He was “stronger” for bench, but couldn’t touch the Czech guy for cleans and jerks
And he definitely didn’t look skinny like a runner. He looked like a strong arse db at 6’1 180

Except he was about 30lbs lighter

see it's difficult to peruse through your bullshite.
you're first statement is tennis player who's 6'1" 180 is benching 305. Highly unbelievable.
Now we find out he was a gymnast and his brother is a body builder, maybe he weighed closer to 200.
So many of your posts have the word "maybe" in them.
So maybe the true story is this former gymnast has been working out heavily and consistently for years with his brother the body builder, is probably closer to 5'11" than 6'1" and probably weighs 200lbs, not 180, and was able to bench 305. I'd believe that.

if you are 6’1 200 lbs ylu are likely fat which is why you are weak. Becasue if that is actual muscle weight you will be benching in the 300s easy
Mingo already has this market cornered

None of which would claim to bench 300+

He didn’t play football (maybe 8-9th grade) & im fairly certain his brother wasn’t a body builder lol
He played basketball (was really good), baseball, tennis, and was maybe even on the golf team

He did play football in high school. Played agaisnt him in a jamboree. He was Qb, and he rotated in and out with a black player. He also was elite at track which you left out
And he had two older brothers. One absoutely was either a body builder or powerlifter

If he played football he quit very very early. Basketball & tennis were his main focus. He didn’t play at all in baseball. I’ve never known him to be into weightlifting. He was always tall & thin

He actually wasn’t good at tennis at all in high school, and wasn’t even included on his Rummel hall of fave accolades. It was track, baseball, and basketball. He absolutely played in baseball, and was about to make the roster at lsu u til he got hurt, thank god for that because that brought him to tennis

but used to be a benchmark of success.
Anyone working out for a year or two should be able to bench their weight, unless they're over 350 lbs or so.

You may have never found your husband if this didn't happen. Divine intervention.
