Obama pretty much already scrapped the agency.
Despite the fact W really shuttered the shuttle program.
P.s. ending the shuttle program was the only correct thing either did.

We don’t scrap federal agencies; we just add new ones.

Are we pretending SpaceX never had failures?
Half the problem is NASA is terrified of failures and now they have analysis paralysis.

Let Space X and others figure out how to get us there and back.
Use NASA for the experiments etc.

Forgive my ignorance here, but is SpaceX or any similar business involved in making liquid-fueled rockets? Solid-fueled rocketry isn't all that complex. It's basically just cramming gunpowder into a metal tube and then figuring out where to point it. Plenty of Tennessee hillbillies can cram gunpowder into a tube and then make it put a projectile where they want it. Extending that to putting a satellite into orbit is really just a matter of scale, and in no way does this technology replace or even compete with what NASA is doing.

It was a successful test. Y’all do know why test stands exist...eh? It’s not for fricking television entertainment.

Please. Think of all the muslims this would adversely impact.

I think there's some type of living organisms in the liquid ocean under the ice.
Based on what, do you think that?

It's 2+ years behind.
The initial SLS test should have happened in 2018.

Better yet, triple their funding and get back to kicking the world's arse in science and discovery?

Liquid ocean with the presence of organics and hydrocarbons. Seems like a good target.

Why do you have a problem with Houston?

I know they know how to contact them and where they are so just freaking let us hang out with them.
They don't want to meet us. The majority of humans are borderline retarded, so I really don't blame them.

Don't you want to be the first to go to the moon.

Everybody is focused on Mars but I wish we'd send a probe to Europa or Enceladus to look for life. I think there's some type of living organisms in the liquid ocean under the ice.
There is one planned. Look up the Europa clipper mission. However, it’s handcuffed to launch on SLS which is in doubt big time.
It's no longer handcuffed to SLS. In the most recent spending bill a clause was included that allowed NASA to change the launch vehicle if SLS ran into technical or timing issues. This was needed since there's a limited launch window for the mission. It'll probably use Falcon Heavy. It will take a little longer to get there vs SLS, but it can meet the timing.
