Truth. The problem for those in New Orleans was when the cajun navy showed up to help, fema turned them away. They had shut the city down and wouldn't let the convoy in. That's why New Orleans looked like a third world country after Katrina while AP, LP, and BR were able to get nearly everyone out. AP saw 100k people flooded out of their homes, water going up 5 feet in 3 hours, yet not one fatality despite very few people evacuating ahead of time. That's the power of the cajun navy. 2000+ people died in New Orleans during Katrina. That's the power of government bureaucracy.
