Ruston is does not represent the state. If you said Shreveport, I’d agree

I always figured it started because some guy probably had to take a massive shite, made an emergency stop at a:

And the toilet looked similar to this:

So he declared: "NEVER AGAIN" and it became his life's mission.

Best part about Buc-ee's is you don't have those mangy truck drivers hanging around looking for lizards.

You gotta think execs at Petro and Love's by this point have seen Buc-ee's success and had a meeting where someone has asked "What if we kick the truckers out?".

Are you trying to say Shreveport is more Louisiana than Ruston?

I’m saying it’s Louisiana fashion to frick shite up and things get ruined. Ruston is a nice small town that doesn’t have nearly the bullshite every other shitehole in Louisiana deals with and fricks up with massive incompetence. Hence why Ruston was chosen

Nah, they service way more trucks than cars and it’s more profitable to sell 200 -400 gallons of diesel a pop than 18 gallons of gas. Plus, the truckers bitch less.

We used to stop at the one in Freeport on the way to go offshore back in maybe the early 2000's. I think about the time he opened the big one in Wharton. He sold ice for $1/bag and ice is like gold on an offshore boat. He pulled tons of offshore guys in with that idea alone. Dude is pretty damn witty for an Aggie.

They still sell a 10lb bag for this price. 20lb is $1.89. Most of the Buccee's have their own ice factory on the premises hence they can provide cheap ice.

I wince every time I buy ice in Baton Rouge for out tailgate.

Expansion outside Texas

On March 8, 2016, Buc-ee's announced a possible first location outside of the state of Texas would be located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.[18] The location was expected to open in early 2017; however, on October 4, 2016, Buc-ee's announced that the plans for the Baton Rouge location had been terminated.

It’s a little pathetic how over the moon the OT is for this place. It’s a nice gas station. That’s it.

Lsu website, lsu is in br, every gas station in Br is complete shite with frickers asking you for money every where you go.

So yeah, most of us for years or even decades were going to shite convenience store/gas stations.

We had Cracker Barrel, but not the country store, the crack head store.
