Drunk driver kills Bride

What a terrible story.
quote:

A newlywed bride was killed, and her husband was injured after an alleged drunken driver hit the golf cart they were riding in Friday night, according to the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office.

Witnesses said the force of the impact threw the golf cart more than 100 yards and made it roll several times.

Bride and Groom right before the crash.

Hope she rots in prison.

holy shite, how fast was she going to do that? More so, in a location that a golf cart would be. It's not like they were on an interstate.

Wedding party should have dragged her out of the car and killed her on scene.

I wish we were a lot more intolerant of drunk driving in this country and offenses were treated much more harshly

She was going 65. 25 is the limit for every street on the Island.

Where was a golf cart driving that a vehicle was allowed to do 65 and hit it?

Are you blaming the couple for getting hit by a speeding, drunk driver?

Depending on her past history, probably a lot shorter than you think.

I would guess six years followed by probation.

It was a street legal cart that had seats for 6. People use carts all over the place in Charleston County. Once a year or so there’s a newsworthy accident involving a cart but they usually aren’t this bad. The car driver was going 40 over and shitfaced.

Holy assumptions batman.

No, I was simply curious how a tragic accident like this is able to happen. I’ve never been close to a golf cart while driving.

Are they allowed on city streets where this happened?
