I know all about the cornerstone speech. I know about the revival of the flag as a reaction to integration. I know about all of it. I don't give a shite. The flag is my flag. The flag is the flag of the South. That is how I feel, and there are plenty more who feel the same way.
When that flag is still flying over South Carolina this time next year, you will know I'm not alone.

As a southerner, with a family who grew up on dirt roads, graduated from a University that was burned to the ground by Union soldiers, and a descendant of a Confederate soldier - this is silly.

Who cares about a flag?
This is America. People are entitled to their own opinion. People need to stop crying about an opinion being different from their own.
When somebody tells me I cant do something like this, I do it just out of spite.
If people would stop acting so butthurt about an old flag, it wouldn't even be an issue.
I'm white and people can fly black panther and Malcolm X flags till they're blue in the face. I don't give a crap.
Grow up and get some thicker skin. Cry about something else.
