I'd honestly like to stop arguing about the Civil War and discuss how that flag was used afterwards. You did a great job of showing how it links to Wallace & Thurmond during their presidential campaigns.

Clearly they weren't representing an ideology that would want to oppress certain people. It's all a vast conspiracy or misunderstanding.

The original documents of the Confederacy show quite clearly that the war was based on one thing: slavery.

Confederacy by policy flatly did not allow blacks to be soldiers until March of 1865.

"Most" of "them"? Lol. I see you are doing your small part to keep racism alive and kicking.

My ancestor was a captain in the army of the tennessee, and I will always be very proud of his memory. I take very seriously the fact that his blood and mine are the same.

The Confederate flag is the flag of the South, the flag of my home. The flag stands for everything the South stands for- good and bad.

And if you don't like it, you can kiss my arse.

You were subjugated, why did your people, and why do you, stay?

yes, you're correct- I obviously meant the army of tennessee. My mistake.

Why am I still here? Because this is my home. Why THE frick are YOU here if you obviously despise the history and culture of this place? Kindly move to New Jersey, you would probably like it better there.

By the way, I am not racist and neither are most Southerners. It's your kind who are obsessed with race.

I don't think the majority of the South agrees with you.

The Confederate flag is not the flag of the South. This American flag is.

You've yet to address the many post that point out the flaws in what you stated on the previous page. Then again, ignorance is bliss.
