BR College Drive IHOP may be forced to close

I say good riddance to that litter infested shite hole. Although the old lady waitresses are american treasures. Bless them for what they do.

According to the complaint filed in Baton Rouge federal court on Feb. 10, the franchise agreement between IHOP and 1930 LLC—the franchisee—expired on Jan. 30. IHOP claims that 1930 LLC has failed to cease operations or vacate the premises despite the expiration of that agreement.
IHOP says the unauthorized operation of the restaurant has caused “irreparable harm” to its brand and reputation, as customers are likely to “associate their negative experiences at the defendant’s unauthorized location with IHOP’s broader restaurant system.”

They need to bulldoze everything that’s preventing them from making College a 6 lane road. Should not be 4 lanes going down to 2 lanes and etc.

That place has terrible management and I'm not surprised it is being shut down. Until recently I despised IHOP restaurants because I thought they were all like the ones in BR. Both the College & Siegen locations are disgusting and the service is horrible. But I recently dined at another location outside of BR (against my wishes) and was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting a shithole but it was actually nice and clean with excellent food and service.

I almost died there back in ~2014.
I went to a concert in Laffy with a girl I'd been dating for a few weeks and a couple of friends. The girl got drunk as all hell and we stopped at that iHop to get her some food. It was around 2 am and a very diverse crowd was dining. She started dropping loud AF hard Rs when looking around at the people. We barely made it out alive. She'd shown no sign of that kind of behavior before that. I was kind of tempted to leave her there.

I don't get uncomfortable just going to a public place at night. We used to hit up Waffle House at 3AM when going on and there was always crazy shite going on.. But this was years ago.. I don't even know.. 2012 ish give or take some years I went to the College Dr IHOP. It was later in the night.. 10-11PM I guess.. As we were going in we heard an argument in the parking lot. A group of people were getting into it and I thought for sure someone was getting shot.. Then inside.. there was a customer in the front worked up about their order... The best way to describe it was.. hostile. It felt hostile in that bitch.. I never went back there just because its not a place I go to often, but if I was really wanting IHOP and that was the only location available, I would think about whether I wanted it THAT BAD,
