I’m guessing he’s got to be like me and is Gen-X in his mid-50s. When we were kids in the 70s and 80s, our grandparents and great aunts & uncles were from the generation that grew up in the Great Depression and fought WWII, AKA, the Greatest Generation. I personally was raised by my grandmother and was around my great aunts and uncles all the time so I remember the generation before Boomers quite well.
