Bison charges at family of tourists, gores man in Yellowstone National Park
Video in the link.
Zero sympathy for these people. This comes after 10 or so days when the woman was gored for getting too close. Park rangers and tour guides tell you to keep your distance. Play stupid games and whatnot.

A 34-year-old Colorado man was gored by a charging bison in recently-reopened Yellowstone National Park Monday after heroically rescuing a child that was in the animal’s path. The man, who was hospitalized from the attack, was walking with family members on a boardwalk near Giant Geyser at Old Faithful when a bison got dangerously close and charged at the group.

The family didn’t leave the area and the bison continued to charge and gored the man, according to Yellowstone National Park. The man, from Colorado Springs, suffered an arm injury during the attack and was rushed to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Bison makes a damn good burger however. Need a little fat added as it is very lean but damn good.

Here's a thought. Stay away from the animals. They aren't there for your facebook page photo.

People are so fricking stupid when it comes to animals. They’re animals. Not the cute, cuddly anthropomorphized characters you see on a cartoon.
quote:
I'm all for idiots getting gored because they're getting too close trying to take a selfie. These people appear to have been approached by the bison rather than the other way around.
Not the moron that FAFO. He kept walking towards them with his camera out.

He pulled that kid away at the last second, he saved that kid's life. What about that frick head who left that kid and ran away?

They should have brought some treats to throw out to bison time.

I wonder if this guy was even with the group that had the kid. It looked like the bison charged them and then stopped and one of the guys turned around and tried to stand his ground and bow up with the Buffalo. Then when it charged they abandoned the kid and the other guy comes in and saves the kid and gets gored
They were too close. But I don't blame these folks too much, the bison came at them from a distance pretty quick and it doesn't appear they were trying to approach it specifically.
If you've ever been to Yellowstone you know Buffalo are everywhere. It's easy to get too comfortable and get too close even if you aren't intending to.
They lay out on the geysers and such all the time.
The guy that got gored was way closer than the ones it charged at at first.
