Surprise, these two kids are yours. It was a few years ago and you don't even remember the girl's name but she had twins and says you're the father.
Are you overcome with emotion? Do you want to hold them and tell them stories?
No they are just some kids to you, but other people are placing guilt on you if you don't try to be in their life, so you make fake emotional interests.
You get a DNA test a month later, not yours. Where does that emotional bond with your "biological" kid go?
