Currently in Augusta, GA… very very underrated town. Perfect for two things, weddings and the masters.

What towns do y’all love weddings in?

None of them. Weddings are a big overpriced social obligation. I wish more people would elope

I mean , what makes a good “wedding town”? Boutique hotels? Bars you can walk to? Town squares? Hidden hot springs you can skinny dip with the bridesmaids In? What?

Maybe the South Carolina portion of the city

Before the stupidity of covid and the Destroya ruined things, Nola was the #1 destination wedding in the city for quite a few years.

I'm with you. I hate weddings. Luckily I come down with a case of explosive diarrhea before each one I am invited to and have a reason not to attend.

Ya'll must be miserable to not be able to enjoy a wedding(and the reception). Or maybe the weddings you go to suck.

I love being able to see friends/family(some that I likely haven't seen in a while). Usually good food and drinks and a great time.

Trick question -

The best wedding towns aren’t towns at all. The rural venues are nicer, more spacious, and cheaper than the BS in city limits

I drove through Augusta one time thinking it would be a nice area because I only associate it with The Masters - what a shithole.

I just went to my cousins wedding who married a loaded girl with a large inheritance. Probably somewhere between 60k-75k and I'm being conservative here.

It was a blast, I also went to the rehearsal dinner which was nothing short of amazing (seafood boil at Leon's in Charleston, SC) with a free fully loaded bar.

The only thing that sucked was flying from Arkansas to Charleston, but it was worth it
