Let me take that old junk saw off your hands. Looks like it's taking up space you could use for rifle building or something.
That thing is full of fogging oil and hiding in the attic of my parent's house along with my Stihl trimmer and my DeWalt stuff. Don't want anyone fuxing with it while I'm out of state..

Yes except one of the biggest outdoor equipment companies in the world developed the red max so yes it is relevant.

Get one and try it. Post results.

Seriously. Exmark is trash compared to other mowers of the same price.
Only thing in the same class is Scag and Hustler.
When it comes to those 3, especially in LA, it comes down to dealer support. North and East of Alexandria, Exmark wins. Hustler is solid. Scag is close.

In that case Great Value must be the greatest shite on earth.

Not too bad either. I've gotten a few recon tools from the other site. Even the Grade C stuff hardly had a scratch on it. Always have sales going on too. They had a nice Tanaka combo package that's out of stock right now. Might want to put your email on the list for it. I keep an eye on them almost daily, scored a great air compressor for $60 that made a great gift for a friend.

We get shite with the biggest bar you can get from our distributor with a few exceptions.
It makes everything easier when it comes to replacement parts and removes the "people buying shite they don't know how to use" factor.

Hustler has always been rated as the best mower for the money but Scag is best overall IMO. I don't think Exmark is up there with them. Toro just makes trash and it shows.

I'd give you one of these Partagas 150's rather than let you borrow my saw...

Damn. I will have to look at that link more. Going to bookmark it now.

Great come back......you've been proven wrong with everything you've posted in this thread.....I like your brand loyalty I do. But your brand is not the best saw period at one time it was now not even close sorry buddy.

I deal with Hustler and Exmark. Hustler is good for the money but the distributor for our area leaves a lot to be desired. In the homeowner market, I like Hustler. They own the BBB/Consumer Reports crowd for a reason. Anything higher...meh.
Spec for spec Exmark edges them out but they do have a realllllllly weak dealer network down south. Like really bad.
Scag is solid but like I said, you're seriously splitting hairs on the high end shite. Majority of the parts are from the same suppliers and usually exmark errs on the side of overkill. They KILL exmark in the gulf coast areas when it comes to dealers.

I'd like to know how many major timber companies are running Stihl versus anything else.

They have a little 16" Tanaka Chainsaw on that site for $112 I might buy to try out.
