Figured I'd start here, but it may need some OB and Travel board help.
Every other year (3 years now because of CV)we hold a "customer appreciate/technical conference". We used the BR 14 years ago and want to get current opinions. BTW, that event 14 years ago is still one of our customers favorite. And we've done Vegas, Mohegan Sun, Lake Tahoe, New Orleans and others.
We will have 40-50 customers, their wives and maybe a key manager and their wives. Mid September, I know still hot and sticky.
I have a couple questions:
14 years ago the property was very nice. Still Nice?
Should we look at another coast property?
On one day, technical conference day, we like to make the wife's feel really special. Besides spa's or a visit to Belingrath Gardens, what you got?
Mid week inshore, shoreline fish charter. Probably two or more boats 6-10 ...recs?
Saturday near offshore charter for 20-24, bigger boat. recs?
14 years ago Capt. Kenny Hebert lined us out with some inshore guys and him another Capt took us out in the sound/gulf and we trolled spoons for big Reds. Now I'm a Grand Isle junkie so this type of trolling was different for me, but it did land a bunch of reds. Although that was in mid October.
TIA

We were just in Biloxi this past weekend and as usual we had a great time. You definitely don't have to worry about masks there.

Things are definitely better in Biloxi than they were 2 years after Katrina that's for sure.

No question. In fact, we were booked at the Beaurivage that year and had to move it to Tunica at the last minute....

The Beau is still the gold standard on the coast however there are a couple of really nice casinos including the Scarlett Pearl just north of the Beau on back bay. Enjoy!

For sheer entertainment and proximity to other things, the Beau is probably the right venue for you. But don't discount The White House or even Centennial Plaza for a less corporate feel. Both bring their own strengths and weaknesses however.
Edit: I've also heard really good things about the Sapphire Supper Club at Hotel Legends which is right down the street from the Beau.

The Beau actually has a great spa. Lunch across the street at Mary Mahoneys is fun also. It has a very New Orleans feel.
