Idk how big you’d call it, but the people fricking on the downstairs couches of the Baton Rouge Country Club during the wedding reception was pretty funny

Honestly, that one has to be up there as far as national/international attention.

I met a dude a few days ago who was the sales rep for a communications company during Swaggart's heyday. He said the JSM account was the largest by far, surpassing accounts like State of LA and Exxon. It was on a whole other level--had their own ZIP code, etc.

I feel like this isn’t talked about enough. A pretty prominent member of the community basically stole people’s money and nothing happened.

No correlation between wealth and intelligence. People that lost their money prob too embarrassed to cause stink about it. I mean they don’t want to make anyone mad and lose their table at best dressed ball or something.

Fixed for spelling; sorry pet peeve

More recently, missing Nathan Millard, Big Man Stanka, and all of the prostitutes.

The story itself, tragic. but I enjoyed reading the theories of his whereabouts on Facebook posted by all the Black ladies of Baton Rouge. I think some of the top posters should get together and have their own True Crime podcast.

Just curious. Was the promotion or selling of Gamecoin the selling of unregistered securities?

It still blows my mind that the Scott Rogers saga really happened.

Others I can think off right off: Huey Long's assasination, Gary Plauche, the Rouzan debacle, Brave Cave, Jimmy Swaggart, Pat Screen's death, etc.

The scandal is how he wasn't caught sooner and the bunk FBI profile.

And how many other victims there were that may never been solved.

Which leads to Mari Ann Fowler and the circumstances surrounding her death.

John was a friend and laid so much pipe across BR when he got here from the UK because he kinda of looked and sounded like Gavin from Bush.

He ended up being a patsy because the feds or whoever were going after a certain politician. I’m sure he took the fall even harder because he nailed the wrong person’s lady during his reign of terror.

I believe he was married by the time all of this went down.
