The car show started earlier this week but the big time cars are usually auctioned off on Friday and Saturday.

The event is in its 50th year now and is so big that it covers two weekends. This past weekend and this upcoming week. The first weekend is usually just memorabilia and shows and whatnot.

The TV schedule is
Wed 2-8pm on FYI. I know, what a garbage channel to have this on.
Thursday 2-10pm on FYI
Friday 2-6pm History Channel, 6-10pm FYI.
Saturday 2-7pm History, 7-11pm FYI.
You can always watch it online through the site if you dont have FYI.

Here are some cars I think are worthy of being linked.

Charity Car
I think she will bring in 2.5-3 million

I don't think it would be a terrible idea for someone in a position to do so to start buying up classic Vettes that are in original condition and sitting on them. So many have been chopped up for custom or resto-mods (many of which I like) in the past few years. An original 1950s-1960's Vette will command a premium in the future.....even moreso than now, and for an entirely opposite reason.

Will this make the third time the Super Snake has sold through BJ?

Didn't Ron Pratte buy it through them about 15 years ago and then sell it when he sold off most of his collection at the WestWorld auction about five years ago?

In my opinion, I would see it as a disrespect to the community to buy up actual original cars, sit on them, and dismantle them to be used for customs.

I wonder if Pratte is upset about selling a lot of his collection.

I'm thinking that 275 GTB/4 would set him apart from the crowd.

I like rare optioned cars and they should be kept that way. But nothing wrong with turning a base level classic to a restomod if you keep the original pieces with it.
