So OP do you think this is something that is going to happen again?
It sounds like other people were involved and maybe caused the relapse (I haven’t read the thread so sorry if this has been covered), but my advice is to delete those people from your phone/Facebook/anything else and not contact them again. Need to get away from those who tempt it.

My friend never had a problem with alcohol, but he let the cocaine demons take over his life for a couple of years in the mid-eighties. Had to get away from it. Had to quit hanging around with all of friends that were using, and the third of my office did it together. Every bar in Dallas had coked up peophisle back then. Had to completely stop going to them. He couldn't stand seeing them in that state.
Stay away from the people that are doing it.

Don't let it get to you. I ate more than half of a king cake last night by myself. I kept cutting a piece, telling myself, this is the last piece over and over again

Cocaine is never the problem, always the answer

Hang in there, Buddy. I’ll be hammered for this, but no program works completely until you sincerely involve God.

My husband is a recovering alcoholic. I understand your struggle, and I wish you peace.
I'm so sorry that you're struggling.

I watched a Joe Walsh interview. He said he knew he needed help when he went out for drinks in Las Angles and woke up in France

I would need help too if I was drinking there.

Thats why I cant trust the system. I dont believe in god and I dont believe anyone or anything can change my mind on that. A higher power or whatever just doesnt make sense to me.

- "Can I Get You some whiskey?"
+ "Naw, I don't drink."
- "What, you don't like whiskey?"
+ "I like it too much. That's why I don't drink it."

Well that was almost 8 years ago and all I've figured out is if I do the work I get the results.
