Baby Left To Die In A Hot Car Gets Rescued By Texas A Cop!
LINK

Uploaded August 27, 2020
Duncanville, Texas — On August 17, 2020 Duncanville Police Officers responded to a call of a child left alone in a vehicle in the 900 Block of Gemini Avenue in Duncanville. The officer arrived and located a Ford Explorer that had a child in a child safety seat located in the back seat behind the drivers’ seat. The officer could hear the child crying and observed the child sweating profusely and covered in vomit. The officer notified dispatch, requested a Duncanville Fire Department medic be dispatched as he attempted to enter the vehicle. The officer was forced to break out the front passenger window to enter the vehicle to retrieve the child. The child was removed from the vehicle and placed inside an airconditioned squad car until the medics arrived on location to evaluate the child. The child was approximately 1 year of age. The mother of the baby was identified and arrived on scene with the child’s grandmother, and two of the child’s older siblings. The incident was reported to Child Protective Services as well as to a Dallas County Grand Jury to determine if civil or criminal charges should be filed. Posted By Ghost

Still better than Braxton, Braylon, or other travel ball names.

It’s a difficult situation......if the parent happens to walk out exactly when you are breaking the window they might think you are trying to break into their car or worse think you are trying to harm their child......good way to get shot.....just saying....

I don’t know how I should feel about this. Should I call CNN or LeBron?

I would have broken the other 3 windows too, just to be sure.

The person leaving the baby in the car hoped that baby would die.
She would be rid of the baby and everyone would say “oh what a tragedy blah blah..she’ll have to live with this blah blah” bull shite.

Small chance of getting shot as outlined in your scenario vs very good chance that 1 year old, sweating profusely and covered in vomit, is going to die. Break a window immediately.

Really curious to hear how this could ever wind up in civil court.

I agree, but breaking that window is a lot harder than most realize. Most people wouldn't be able to break it easily without having a crowbar or something similar.

The cop is so pissed off at this situation he closes his baton on panel of the car.

This may be true if it's you and me out in a parking lot and I tell you to break the window to see how hard it really is.

However, in the situation that you see an infant in a car about to die, crying and covered in vomit, adrenaline kicks in and I bet it would be pretty easy to break.

When I worked in retail, our company policy was to smash that mother fricker open if we saw a kid inside in the heat. We didn't need to wait for the cops and the store/corporate would have our back 100% no matter what if the parents were a-holes about it. It was pretty cool. Thankfully we never had to do it.

Abso-fricking-lutely! At the very least. I'm thinking that she should be left to die in a car the same way and the baby given to two parents that will care and love for the child.
