Authorities seize record-setting 1.7 tons of meth worth $1.29 billion at Los Angeles port

The containers were filled with speakers "artfully" stuffed with the drugs. In addition to the 3,810 pounds of meth, the shipment also contained 55.9 pounds of cocaine and 11.5 pounds of heroin. Australian officials said the total street value of the haul was $1.29 billion.

Impossible. They had to have made the bust out in the desert with a group of illegals. Port of entry busts are "fake news".

A lot people would have probably died from overdoses if this had gotten in anyways. Better them than the others.

Good thing we've been throwing trillions of dollars fighting the drug war since 1972. Any day now we will see returns on the investment. Decreasing busts instead of ever higher records set.
