So they decide to go from outrage that would have blown over after a day or so from the crazy on the left with no media attention to becoming focal point of media story and angering both sides?

When will companies learn that it is easier to stick to a decision and face initial criticism than it is to constantly try and please anyone who feels offended?

Probably was canceled because no one reserved tickets.

A family of 4 would have to go more than 3 times a year to equal "hundreds of dollars"

Just blasted their board

quote:

While I was looking at nola.com this evening, I came across the story above regarding the Audubon Nature Institute's decision to cancel a promotion, citing feedback that “this event could be unintentionally divisive.”

What is divisive is pandering to a few people when the NOPD protects and serves your premises. What is divisive is taking an event to honor those who put their lives on the line daily to serve this city and your patrons. What is divisive is weak boards who cater to fringe while every day families and citizens of this great city love and respect the NOPD.

The next time I look for something to do with my daughter/family, to host an party at the Cool Zoo, or maybe a work event at one of your many venues, I will choose to do so at another location. A location that respects those who provide professional police services to the public in order to maintain order and protect life and property.

The only word that comes to mind about your recent decision.....PATHETIC.

Have a nice evening,

Just one less reason to go to New Orleans. What a complete shithole that city has become.

Never heard of Blue at the Zoo but I’m sure this thread will be full of triggered individuals because it’s canceled even though they don’t give two shits about it

So you know it’s wrong, but there’s no justification for it, so you resort to “why do you even care?!”

Got it
