CNN
Krista Johnson gets anxious when she thinks about the rising cost of gas, food and housing as she prepares to give birth to her daughter, who is due in August.
Johnson said she's been trying to save money by cooking more at home and packing her husband's lunches instead of eating out at restaurants. The metro Atlanta couple postponed buying a house after watching home prices soar in the last year. Johnson, an elementary school teacher, is also concerned about being able to afford child care which is getting more expensive nationwide.
"I'm just worried about quality of life," said Johnson, 33. "You already have nerves about being a new parent. And then you have the whole economic downturn possibly coming and it can create some anxiety."
Like many Many Black families, Johnson and her husband are bearing the brunt of inflation -- with prices rising to the highest rates the US has seen in more than 40 years. Researchers say Black families will suffer the worst effects of rising inflation because they lag behind their White counterparts in income, wealth, financial savings and home ownership.

Well elections have consequences. They voted en masse for the shite show.
PS - I reject the premise that inflation is racist. Just another attempt to stoke the fires of racial division. Blow me XiNN

frick whoever wrote this trash
Seriously…. What in the flying frick would ever lead people to believe that ANY particular group is ‘bearing the brunt’ of this bullshite economy? frick these people and frick anyone who reads this intentionally deceitful crap
I’m sick of it

There are just as many white people suffering the effects of high food and gas prices. If blacks, making the same income, have it worse it’s because they don’t manage their money as well. Why does it have to be a racial bias?

Yes, I’m so sure 13% of the country is bearing the brunt of this.
Life is just peachy keen for all the crackers.
I just pull out my Peckerwood Points card and get my honky discount everywhere I go.

If it weren't a XiNN link, I would say Don Jr should tweet it out and say "Thanks Clueless Joe".

They vote 95% Democrat. Not one ounce of sympathy. This needs to happen. They need reality to hit them in the face for them to change their paradigm.

We are all bearing the brunt of housing prices. frick I moved from a place that I had a lot of friends at just so I could buy a house. I am fricking sick and fricking tired of these stupid divisive articles.
At some point can we sit down and all realize we didn't ask to be born white, that we have not been handed everything in this world, and while some of us are lucky to have two parents, we still had to live through some hard times just like everyone else? I am so goddamn proud of people that lift themselves up and I'll freely admit I wasn't living in squalor, but goddamn you'd think I was born with thousand dollar bills up my arse.

Sounds like they could have benefited from the child tax credit being extended assuming they qualified.

That’s by design. Democrats have always wanted black Americans dependent on the government.

We need inflation programs

Enough of the bullshite that Black Americans suffer more from this inflation!
The woman is a school teacher in Atlanta and obviously her husband works as well, or she wouldn't have to pack him a lunch. She's 33 years old and she was ready to purchase a home, so they can't be living paycheck to paycheck.
Struggling to make ends meet is a condition that many Americans face due to the current clown show occupying the white house. Hardship doesn't happen to only one race of people. When will the pity for a certain group end?
