A lot of people including most on here don't even know what they are , call themselves Conservative then hold a lot of views that are anything but. I myself hold a lot of Classis Liberal views and the trumptards head explode and have no idea that makes me more conservative than them

Neither my wife or I espouse any political party.

Conservative vs liberalism is not siloed to party/platform, it's a fundamental look at the world, value systems, Safety, risk tolerance, etc.
For example, Traveling. Cuba vs Costa Rica. China vs Japan. Russia vs Croatia. Conservative/Liberal may lean one way versus the other.
