And people care if someone works 3.5 days a week? Some people find free time more important and are willing to sacrifice extra income for more free time. Guess what? Some physicians (as well as people in a ton of other careers) do it too.

Yea didnt mean to imply that yall don't have it too or that either is easy, some of those specialties definitely get really competitive. Just that on our end, everyone has to do a residency so how you do in med school plays a big part in determining where you spend the 3-7 years after school.
Yea, you'll see the number keep dwindling. Having the chance to come out after 4 years and start practicing would be very hard to turn down in that situation.
