Just watched a reddit video of a grown man embarrass himself at a Waterpark and I can't imagine an adult that can't tread water. Confess baws

My 16 year old is a disgrace in the water. Swimming lessons, had a pool most of his life, can't swim. He can probably tread water if his life depended on it... probably...

He's pretty smart, so he has that.

I can’t imagine seeing a kid drowning and not knowing how to save them. There is absolutely no excuse for anyone to not know how to swim. If you don’t know then ask about lessons.

When I was 16 my girlfriend was giving me blowjobs in the pool where I lifeguarded at on slow days and your 16 year old is out there barely able to keep his head above water.

My parents threw me in a pool at age 3. I thought everyone was like this

When I was in lifeguard class at LSU I had to swim the length of the pool in the natatorium 20 times back and forth in a certain time period or less. It’s kinda my athletic claim to fame. Don’t mess with me, I can’t kick your arse but I’ll outswim you any day of the week.

I'd take that challenge - I was an all-state 500m swimmer in high school and have done iron man tris . when and where do we meet?

That wasn’t directed at you specifically and after reading that, it damn sure wasn’t directed at you in particular

Can’t think of a single friend who can’t swim.

My mom learned as a little kid in the open sea. My dad isn’t a great swimmer but can certainly survive in the water. I’m in between, nothing amazing but could certainly save a child from drowning.

I feel like I’m a pretty strong swimmer. The only time I question my abilities is when I see shore breakers like this:
