Don't see anything on NHC site. I think you're mistaken.
We know that SELA's annual hurricane happens around Labor Day weekend, not Memorial Day weekend.

There have been multiple threads about the potential tropical system. The chances it will be anything significant are low. No one has knowledge this far out of where it would go if it ever even forms.

What does it matter if it happens? Are you gonna move? Your gonna have a hurricane in the gulf at some point. Quit worrying about it.
