Anyone experienced spam calls being ramped up?

I’ve been saying for years that I would vote for any politician, any sex, any race, any party who even tells me that they will try to make robocalls illegal.

my pixel would block these calls, switched to apple, and it never filters them out. sucks

I usually get a "spam risk" warning but none yesterday.
Should catch these people and have gladiatorial games in stadiums with them.

Also I've been getting like 5 - 10 daily for multiple years now. My own phone number has called me about 6 or 7 times

This car warranty shite has gotten totally out of hand. They wouldn’t do it if this country wasn’t full of idiots that buy this shite over the phone. But yes, it has really increased over the last 60 days for me.

It makes part of my job annoying because I have to call people to schedule work and most people don't answer unknown numbers because of spam. Then I have to leave a VM. Then they call back an hour later when I'm not here and leave a VM, then I call back and leave a VM, then we text, and it becomes a cluster to schedule multiple appointments via text because everyone wants to know availability and then not respond for a couple hours. And when they do respond the slots are already taken and they get mad. Every fricking day. All because of spam. 
My pixel does a really good job of filtering out spam. 90% of the time it will tell me it's spam, and then I use calls screening on the few that do make it past the filter.

I do love the Pixel for this, but I still end up using too much time checking filtered calls and texts because I'm paranoid I missed something important.

I shouldn't have to pay a monthly fee to use a third party app because my cell phone gets 7+ spam calls a day, it's fricking ridiculous that nobody can do anything about this

Its getting worse.... At the office we are getting calls with actual peoples names on the caller ID. We answer it thinking its a client and its Zach from India (dot) wanting to sell a Ford extended warranty....
How can these people get away with using someones else working number to spam a call.

Had one from Iran yesterday.
I’m 100% sure I don’t know anyone from Iran.
Most of the ones I’ve been receiving lately are from St. Francisville, La.
They show up as “spam risk”.
