I've tried in multiple world cups to get into it, I inevitably lose interest. Besides it being slow a couple things bother me. Why doesn't the clock count down like every other sport? I don't understand the extra time thing, they just go into overtime even if someone has a lead?

The extra time is to keep teams from deliberately waiting time since the clock never stops. As far as the clock counting up, what does that matter?

Why do the crowds constantly make annoyingly repetitive sounds? I'm trying to watch the current match and the Ivory Coast fans are making this repetitive buzzing sound. I'm about to turn the shite off. I can't imagine watching this with the surround sound turned up.

I like it but don't watch it but when country's pride is on the line, I love it. I can watch anything if the usa is competing.

I can only watch if the U.S. is playing and then I can't watch the whole game...I've never seen a more boring sport

I find it funny that so many people think football is always so exciting. I have watched countless football games where a team didn't score for 45 minutes and I had to sit thought 30 min of commercials.
