I played for 10 years competitively. (23 now) did not enjoy watching until recently. Immensely more fun to play. Plus American soccer is garbage.i can barely watch American soccer but of course I'm rooting for them in WC

I'm no soccer fan, but this is shear stupidity. How are they going to control the ball? They can't use their hands and ball control at a professional level takes a lifetime of practice. In fact, you have no idea if they'd be able to play at all.

I don't watch soccer much but if they had more matches like Netherlands vs Spain match if watch more. That was a blast to watch

Yeah, I just read his following posts and realize he was being facetious.
So, now my opinion of soccer is even lower. I'm throwing my lot in with the "It's ghey" and for spazs who can't cut it in real football, basketball or baseball crowd now.

Yes and for 40 years I've been hearing how soccer would surpass American football in popularity. Never happened.

I'm pretty sure he meant if all of our best athletes had played soccer their entire lives we would dominate. Anthony Davis and prime KG would be a great goalies, guys like Allen Iverson and Patrock Peterson would be sick scorers etc if they had played soccer their entire instead of basketball. USA #1

Best thing about WC soccer is the lack of commercials during play. Allows you to really get into the game.
